In science, we took our first quiz about controlled experiments. Parents- prepare to sign and return these- they will be coming home tomorrow.
Math's focus was reviewing lessons 1-3. We continued to examine exponents. Please see yesterday's videos for homework help.
Mr. Schmucker and Mrs. Smith came around this afternoon for a summer reading celebrations. Great job for those of you who continued to exercise your mind this summer.
Writing was all about SHOWING instead of TELLING today.
In reading we continued to analyze Auggie as a class. Auggie finally received his tour around the school and met some students. Ask your child how Auggie handled these social moments. Groups also broke down their group specific characters. To wrap up reading, we modeled how to have a "book club" meeting. On Monday, we will have our first meets based on what we read in the first two sections of book clubs.
