Monday May 5th, 2014

I hope everyone's first May weekend was just delightful.  This morning we started off with our new Latin root "bio" meaning life.

Students continued on their menu projects.  Today was the last day of class time to complete these.  Tomorrow we will begin digging deep into ecosystems!

In math we worked on plotting two linear equations and comparing the two lines.

This afternoon we had to take one of our final Journeys reading benchmarks of the year.  Hard work and dedication on these!

The journals that came in today looked great!!!!  I cannot wait to start the Oregon trail in class so we can use them!

Tonight’s Homework

Math- SL 10.6
Social Studies- some people still do not have Journals in- these need to be in ASAP!!!!  We will starting using them in a few days.

- LDC revised from 3 people!
- Finish Pen Pal letters
Vocabulary and Spelling
- "bio" matching
- Spelling Bee people keep studying!  This Friday is the competition!
