Wednesday February 3, 2016

This morning we began with learning to make wet slides in science.


Ask your child how to make a wet slide, what kind of things work best in a wet slide, and what they observed today.



In math we reviewed finding parts of wholes, and then took Module 4, Topic C quiz.

As our day progressed, we gained two new Greek and Latin roots.


After, research for environmental issue essays continued.  Tomorrow will most likely be our last day of research before we begin organizing our research and essays.  Below is a list of resources I have provided to the students based on their topics:

To end the day, we focused on Key Ideas and Details in informational reading passages.  This has been a major area of concern for the year, so the next few days in reading will focus on this topic.  Bumper Cars were the topic discussed and dissected in the readings.
