Wednesday May 7, 2014

This morning began with a beautiful New York themed morning meeting from Ms. Natalie.  We also learned Fiona is great at throwing comedic temper tantrums.

Science focused on isopods and crickets since they will be added to our ecocolumns tomorrow.  Fascinating little critters!

Today's math lesson introduced circles.  We began by finding radius, diameter and then circumference of circles.  Also, we discussed our new best friend pi.

In writing we continued our special projects that I am unable to inform you about online.

Comparing and contrasting was the focus of the story We Were There, Too which we began and wrapped up today.  We used top hat organizers instead of the old fashion Venn Diagram to show these similarities and differences.
